Blue Grenadier with a Parmisan and Herb crust...

This is such a delicious way to crumb anything ...but in this case I wanted to see how frozen fish from the supermarket would go.

I'm posting this in the cheap and cheerful category as on special it was only $10.00 a kilo.

The Blue Grenadier was from New Zealand and it came in a nice thick fillet.

Ingredients.

Frozen Fish Fillet { I used 500g}
Plain Flour for dredging {about a cup or so}

Mix
1 Egg
Milk for egg wash {about 1/2 a cup}

Combine
Breadcrumbs {about 1 1/2- 2 cups}
1 Tblspoon Herbs from the garden,  finely chopped. I used Parsley and Lemon Thyme.
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated

Oil for frying

Step One...
 Thaw the filet and cut into portions.
Dry it a bit with kitchen paber to take away any excess moisture.

Step 2
Dip the portions in the flour and lightly coat

Step 3
Dip in Eggwash and then in the breadcrums.

 Fry gently in shallow oil let the crust develop and keep an eye on how quickly its browning...
Enjoy with whatever you like...I had mine with Hommus drizzle and Stir Fry Vegetables
